The Mount King George room is one we call the “family room” because it’s just so easy to settle right into with your little one (s). You can access Mount King George from the garden level of our property. This beautiful room has French doors leading outside, making it simple to bring in your gear and ideal for viewing the Northern Lights.
The Mount King George is furnished with 2 King sized beds (making 4 singles!), a reading chair and it’s own private bathroom. We’ve seen this room used by a photographer who needed lots of space for his big lenses; it’s been the cozy pad for a women’s hiking getaway; and we hosted a lovely family of 4 from Brampton who stayed two extra nights because they loved it so much.
We love making our guests feel like family and we know that the Yukon is often a once in a lifetime trip. Take your time and really breath in the natural beauty of this area. Indulge all of your senses.
Watch the sunset on the mountains or the auroras light up the sky. After a crisp snowshoe trek on a snowy trail, enjoy three-course dinners in our beautiful Lodge and venture in for a homemade breakfast and Yukon Fire Bean Coffee (roasted locally).
