Our talented culinary team crafts delicious, seasonal menus that reflect the bounty of the Yukon and surrounding regions.
During the growing season, we source fresh vegetables, wild blueberries, and other fruits from the Yukon and British Columbia, and we grow a variety of vegetables and herbs right here in our own garden! We are also proud to offer locally-sourced Yukon meats whenever available, supplemented by high-quality selections from Alberta and BC. Our water comes from a well on the property, ensuring a pure and refreshing taste. We partner with Yukon businesses like Bullet Hole Bagels and Firebean Coffee Roaster to bring you the freshest, most authentic flavors.
Our team enjoys foraging for wild ingredients like sage, juniper berries, fireweed, rose petals, and spruce tips, adding unique, hyperlocal touches to our dishes. We are deeply committed to responsible harvesting, always ensuring we take only what we need and leaving plenty for the wildlife, especially when resources are scarce – for example, we’re very mindful of the bears when gathering wild cranberries! While we prioritize fresh, seasonal ingredients, we also preserve the flavors of summer through homemade jams, compotes, and frozen berries, ensuring a taste of the Yukon’s bounty year-round.
Dinner at Mount Logan EcoLodge
Each dinner is a culinary highlight, typically a delicious three-course meal. Imagine starting with an exquisite salmon tartare, followed by succulent elk meatballs and a rich, wild mushroom risotto. Finish your meal with a decadent dessert, like our signature spruce tip crème brûlée paired with a delicate Labrador tea shortbread. Every dish is crafted with care and passion, designed to delight your senses. On occasion, we also offer special 6-7 course harvest tasting menus, showcasing the very best of the season’s ingredients. While we enjoy baking fresh bread, please note that it’s not available every day.
Lunch at Mount Logan EcoLodge
Enjoy a selection of light and satisfying lunches, available from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Our menu features freshly made sandwiches paired with vibrant salads or comforting soups. We also offer a range of delicious and healthy smoothies.
