The old Gold Rush Cabin is not only the oldest building in Haines Junction but a truly romantic Cabin with a very comfortable queen size bed.

The house is located off the grid but equipped with solar power, a wood stove anda basic kitchen that provides all the tools needed to prepare your own meals. Bathroom facilities such as toilettes are outdoors. But, noo need to abstain from your hot shower. Thanks to a hand pump shower, you will enjoy your hot shower after a long day out inside the Cabin.

Please note there is no Wifi available in the Cabin. Of course, as guests in the Gold Rush Cabin, you will also be welcomed to enjoy the facilities of Mount Logan Lodge including the hot tub and our brand new Finish Barrel sauna and WiFi.

The Old Gold Rush Cabin is located at the corner of the Alsek Valley Road and the Alaska Highway,  700 m from the Start of the Alsek Valley Trail.

Homemade healthy breakfast is included as well as complementary tea & coffee all day long. Our facilities further feature a hot tub and a finnish sauna, as well as common living room area with a fire place and a outdoor terrace with lounge chairs.
